Music


Music is one of the most important things in my life. I wouldn't be the same without it, and I think that I might never survive if music didn't exist. It makes me feel any emotion, I could get angry, sad, happy, enthusiastic, calm, and any other emotion. My favourite musician is Jeff Buckley at this time. I like him because I get inside his soul through his voice. And I can listen to him any time, doesn't matter how I feel, he really touches my mind. And his voice is way too strong but you always feel that he's about to break, but he never does. One of my favourite things it buying CD's and listening to them in the car. I think the Cd's is a purest way to have music than downloading it, so I only buy important cd's. Actually I have three Jeff Buckley's albums. If I were a song I wouldn't be the same song everyday, because I feel different everyday, but right now I would be "I know it's over" originally by The Smiths but I prefer Jeff Buckley's cover of the song. I play the guitar and at sometime in my life I learned some songs in piano, but I can't say that I actually play the piano. I also sing, but I can't tell you that I do sing well, because it's relative, some songs I think that I can sing them very well, and there are others which I don't even try to sing them, because I don't want to ruin them. The world without music would be full of anxious people, because I think that music is a way to express whatever it on our minds, and music can also make you feel fine or bad even when you don't have any reason to feel like that.

    I feel the same about music! I agree when you say that world without music would be full of anxious people, I think that would be harmful to society.

    I think something like you about music. I don't know Jeff Buckley's music, but if you say that it is a good singer I will listen to him.

My post graduate studies

Today I will be writing about my post graduate studies. For a long time I thought I was going to Spain right after I graduate. At the time I didn't know what I was going to study then but I was sure I was was going to. Over time I realized that I didn't like studying (I mean, i love to learn but I don't like "the academy"), and that I was not that excited about the idea of keep studying after I graduate. So right now I'm hoping that it won't be neccesary to get my first job. Anyway, maybe when i'm working I'll realize that I need to learn new contents to keep doing my job or to do something else; but that I'll make that decision later and not right after I graduate. On the other hand, what I really like to do now, or when I graduate, or when i'm 30 or 50 is attending to classes or workshops to learn different skills and knowledge. I would like to learn more techniques to do handcraft for example, or learn another language. Right now i woul...

My favourite piece of technology

My favourite piece of technology is my car radio. I got it when my parents bought our car around 2 years ago. I use it when I go driving around my neighbourhood, but I principally get in the car for listening to music, because is one of my favourite places to do that. I do it whenever I feel like I have to do it, usually when I get a new cd or just want to listen an specific musician. I like it because it sounds so clear and you really get into the song. It's like having a space where you can be alone and listen to your favorite music for understing it. My life without it would be the same but I wouldn't have this time by myself and a place where the music sounds that perfect.

My favourite photograph

This is photograph was taken by my friend Fernanda, who I deeply love with all my heart. It shows me with three dogs that I met on the beach. It was taken on last year's winter holidays and I like it because that day me and my friend took a walk on our pijamas, it was cold so we had to put jackets on, and we walked along the beach all the morning. Those dogs started following us, they were very friendly. We sat on the sand just watching and listening the seawaves, and those dogs joined us, they were also watching the sea, and while we were doing that my friend started tooking pictures of the sea, the dogs, the hills, and the rising sun. The both of us were in total silence, just enjoying that cold breeze, the dogs runing around us, and the sun appearing between the hills. We just contemplate the view and it was a very quiet and lovely morning.
